All we are saying is give peace a chance

An empty mind is a bliss, the one that I have never been able to enjoy.
This is my first post on this blog but too much is happening around me to indulge in the exercise of introduction. So let me tell you the thoughts that have crossed my mind in last few days. Let me empty it out, if I can.
Surgical Strike
All we are saying is give peace a chance, and is that being anti-national? It's understood that no one wants to appear weak and so surgical strike, if there was, is justified. But chest thumping for an act which includes killing of another human being; is that who we are?

Let's listen to ourselves. We are asking for war. We are celebrating and enjoying deaths. "38 kaafi hai, ya aur chayea," asked a poster viral on FB and WhatsApp groups. Is count of dead bodies directly proportional to the degree of peace in our country?
Let's say 'yes'. Let's say who are being killed are terrorists. Killing them is a step towards peace. But won't giving such answers, be ignoring facts. Our soldiers are dying too. They are dying for us. I love them for their selfless service. So I don't want them to die. (Is that being anti-national) Aren't civilians living in border areas of J&K, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujrat are suffering too. So won't looking for a diplomatic long term solution be a better option.
In fact, we should know that Governments are already engaged in diplomatic talks. They always are. It just us who are being made to believe that, now, the only things we can exchange with Pakistan are bullets and bombs. Thanks to our media. Why are they doing this?
And those who believe them, let's ask ourselves ones, after how many bombs and bullets will Pakistan cease to be our neighbour. The fact is, it won't ever. Not even nuclear bomb, believed to be both countries ultimate threat and saviour, will do that. So won't it better if we try peace bomb. Let's remember, as we are destined (or cursed, as some would prefer) to be neighbours, radiations of any of these bombs will affect both of us.
Again Strikes are justified but it's celebration is not. It's simply cannot be us because it's not human.
